Basic Function:

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Global EDI and Integration Specialist. The Global EDI and Integration Specialist at MUVIQ will be responsible for managing the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) providers and their connections to MUVIQ's ERP systems. This role will also oversee the management of internal integrations across MUVIQ's application landscape.

key responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain relationships with EDI providers to ensure seamless connectivity and data exchange with MUVIQ's ERP systems.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of EDI connections by 3rd parties, or conduct changes without 3rd party involvement, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
  • Maintain an overview of all 3rd party integrations and their requirements.
  • Develop and enforce EDI standards and protocols to streamline communication and data exchange across all the plants globally.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to manage and optimize internal integrations across MUVIQ's application landscape, including but not limited to integrations with the two global ERP systems.
  • Ensure that all integration processes comply with internal and external requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to EDI and internal integrations promptly (in alignment with external service providers).
  • Provide training and support to internal teams on EDI processes and integration best practices.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement in EDI and integration processes.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in EDI and integration technologies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing EDI systems and integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of EDI standards, protocols, and best practices.
  • Experience in mapping and translating data between different formats and systems.
  • Experience with ERP systems and their integration with EDI providers.
    Proven track record of managing internal integrations across various applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal and external teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Mandatory requirements

  • Proven track record in managing and adjusting EDI landscapes.
  • Experience in working with ERP systems in globally distributed organizations.
  • Fluent English is a must; other languages are a plus.
  • Experience with communication protocols, such as AS2, SFTP, FTP or others.

Knowledge and Beneficial Experience:

  • Experience with cloud-based EDI solutions.
  • Experience in working with Seeburger.
  • Knowledge of API management and integration.
  • Familiarity with supply chain and logistics processes, or experience in the discrete manufacturing industry.

Basic Function:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Global Network and Workplace Specialist to contribute significantly to the overall enterprise network architecture and strategy and to set the rules for the workplace management of our company. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the alignment of network/workplace strategies with business goals, driving the performance, security, and integration of all network infrastructures within the organization together with a common and appropriate management of the workplaces. The future candidate will report directly to the Global Infrastructure Manager and will be part of the global IT organization of MUVIQ

key responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the overall enterprise network architecture and align it with local IT teams at the plants.
  • Ensure that business requirements and processes are effectively integrated into the global SD-WAN and other critical network infrastructures.
  • Actively contribute to transformation and harmonization projects on a global scale as a project manager and actively engage with local teams and third-party IT service providers to define common standards (e.g., tools and processes) across plants both when it comes to network and workplace.
  • Coordinate with third-party IT service providers for management of day-to-day operations and also for larger enhancements and projects, ensuring alignment of scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Ensure external IT requirements, as well as best practices, standards, and policies integrate with MUVIQ’s global network and workplaces.
  • Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of multiple network platforms, ensuring their reliability, availability, scalability, and integration internally, as well as with external partners.
  • Oversee the definition of standard for workplace management (e.g. Operating systems, Patching process, Applications catalogue, Device monitoring, ecc.) and its alignment with benchmarks and internal policies over the time; ensure that the decided processes are implemented and properly maintained
  • Document and maintain the architecture, design, and configuration of network platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Cybersecurity manager to ensure the Network is designed and implemented in compliance with security requirements and workplaces adhere to the security policies

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree (or comparable qualification/experience) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) including responsibility for network platforms and workplace management
    Experience in working with globally distributed teams (internal and external partners)
  • Experience in developing plans for customizations, integrations, and extensions for various network platforms.
  • Experience in managing and maintaining interfaces between network platforms and third parties, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence end-users, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Fluent English and Italian is a must; other languages are beneficial.

Knowledge and Beneficial Experience:

  • Certification or training in relevant network platforms or technologies.
  • Certification or training in Fortinet technology
  • Basic understanding of IBM iSeries and its impact on the network layer.
  • Working experience within the automotive or (discrete) manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge or hands-on experience with other ERP systems or tools.
  • Experience managing and maintaining Cisco Switch and Meraki Wi-Fi Systems
  • Experience in working with ITIL methodologies and tools
  • Experience managing and maintaining Fortigate Firewalls
